What we collect
Only what the tools need to work.
When you register, we collect your first and last name, location, most recent role and organisation, LinkedIn profile link, and email address. We do not collect a phone number.
When you use Eleva Scout, Eleva Signal, or Eleva Weave, we collect the file or files you choose to upload, a CV, a LinkedIn profile exported as a PDF, or a job description, along with the result each tool produces for you.
Why we collect it
To run the tool you asked for, nothing more.
Your registration details let us verify you, keep your results linked to your account, and review flagged accounts if something looks wrong. Uploaded files are used only to generate the result you requested.
Before any of your content is sent to our AI provider, we remove personal details, your name, email, phone, and home address, and replace them with placeholders. The AI provider never sees your real personal information. We restore your real details once the result comes back, before it reaches you.
Company names, job titles, dates, education, and skills are not removed, since the AI needs this context to give an accurate assessment.
Who we share it with
A third-party AI provider, and no one else.
The anonymised content of your upload is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate your result. We also use standard third-party services for tasks like sending email and scanning uploaded files for malware, under their own data-handling terms. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your personal details with any other party.
How long we keep it
As long as needed, and no longer.
We are finalising our exact retention schedule as part of setting up the platform. As a principle, uploaded files are kept only for as long as needed to produce your result, and are then deleted automatically on a routine schedule. This page will be updated with exact timeframes once they are confirmed.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Write to us at the email address below to request deletion of your account and associated data. Deleting your account removes your uploaded files and personal details, not just your login.
By registering, you confirm the documents and details you provide are your own and accurate. If our system detects a mismatch between your registered details and an uploaded document, your account may be flagged for review, and repeated mismatches may lead to your account being restricted.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to protect the site against automated abuse. If we introduce broader usage analytics in future, this page will be updated first.

Built for a global audience.
Eleva is used by people in different countries, and we aim to handle everyone's data to a consistently high standard rather than the minimum required in any one place. If you are located somewhere with specific data protection rights, for example the right to access, correct, or export your data, write to us and we will do our best to accommodate this even where not yet formally built into the platform.
