Terms of Use.
These terms apply to your use of helloeleva.ai and the services made available through it. Last updated: date to be inserted on publication, a working draft pending legal review before public launch.
Who can use Eleva
Professionals, employers, and partners.
You must be able to form a legally binding agreement in your own jurisdiction to use the Service. Eleva is intended for individual professionals, employers and hiring teams, and partners such as recruitment consultants and coaches. Eleva is operated from Hong Kong.
Accounts and login
Google, Microsoft, or email.
You may access certain parts of the Service by creating an account. Login may be offered through Google, Microsoft, or email, and the options available may change over time. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
The Service
A review and guidance tool, not a recruiter.
Eleva provides AI-assisted tools for career and talent purposes, including CV review, LinkedIn profile review, CV tailoring, career guidance, and CV shortlisting for employers. The exact tools, formats accepted, and delivery method may change as the Service develops. Eleva is a review and guidance tool. It does not place candidates in jobs, guarantee interviews, and is not a recruitment agency.
Eleva Bridge is a separate, personally delivered service for individuals managing redundancy or career transition, arranged and paid for outside the automated tools described above. Where you receive Eleva output through a third party, for example a recruiter using our wholesale channel, your relationship for that output is with the third party who commissioned it, not directly with Eleva.
Your content and documents
You keep ownership of what you upload.
To use the Service you may upload documents such as your CV, a job description, or a LinkedIn profile export. You confirm that the documents you upload are genuinely yours, or you have the right to upload them, that the information in them is accurate and not misleading, and that you will not upload another person's personal documents without their permission.
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give Eleva only the limited right needed to process your documents in order to generate your report or output. Eleva does not sell your documents or share them with third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
AI-generated output
Review it before you rely on it.
Reports and rewritten content produced by Eleva's tools are generated with the help of artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete, generic, or occasionally incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it or using it, for example before submitting a CV to an employer.
Acceptable use
What you agree not to do.
- Break any applicable law.
- Upload unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading content.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or verification steps.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Use the Service to build a competing product, or to scrape or extract Eleva's tools, prompts, or underlying logic.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section. Some tools also have usage limits, to keep the Service available and fair to all users, which may change at any time without prior notice.
Employers and hiring teams
You stay responsible for your own process.
If you use Eleva as an employer or hiring team, for example to review CVs through Slate, you remain responsible for how you use any output in your own recruitment process, and for complying with employment and data protection law that applies to you.
Intellectual property and third parties
The Eleva name and tools belong to Eleva.
The Eleva name, brand, site design, and underlying tools and logic belong to Eleva. Nothing in these Terms gives you any right to copy, resell, or create derivative products from the Service itself. Parts of the Service rely on third-party providers, for example Google, for login and for the underlying AI processing. Your use of those features is also subject to that provider's own terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these Terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Provided as-is, liability limited under Hong Kong law.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Eleva does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that using it will lead to any particular outcome, including any job offer, interview, or hiring decision.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eleva's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid to Eleva for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Eleva is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of income, opportunity, or employment outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of Hong Kong.
Termination, law, and changes
Governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version here, continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
